Question 1

What do I get with the frame and 2 posters?

Accepted Answer

A double-sided A-frame with two printed posters, one for each side, so you can show a different design on the front and back.

Question 2

Can I order new posters for my frame?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Choose Poster Only in the same size as your frame (A2 or A1). The snap frame loads from the front, so swapping takes seconds.

Question 3

How do I change the posters?

Accepted Answer

Open the clip-down edges around the front of the frame, lift the anti-glare cover, swap the poster and snap the edges shut.

Question 4

Can I leave it outside?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The frame has a galvanised steel back and the posters are printed on tough 410gsm PVC, so they're made for indoor and outdoor use.

Question 5

How heavy is it?

Accepted Answer

The A2 frame weighs about 3.8kg and the A1 about 6.9kg: light enough to carry in and out every day.

Question 6

How big should I make my design?

Accepted Answer

At the full poster size, 1:1: 420 × 594mm for A2 or 594 × 841mm for A1. Keep text and logos at least 10mm (ideally 25mm) from the edge, as the frame clips cover the border.

Question 7

What file should I send?

Accepted Answer

A CMYK PDF, ideally PDF/X-1a, at full size with images at 150dpi. Keep text 18pt or bigger so it reads from a distance.

Question 8

Who uses A-frames?

Accepted Answer

Cafés, bars, restaurants, shops, salons, estate agents, market stalls, colleges and exhibitions: anywhere you want to catch people walking by.

Question 9

Will you check my artwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes. File Check is free and selected by default: our prepress team check size, resolution, borders and more, and contact you if anything needs fixing. If you'd rather we fixed the problems for you, choose File Assist. We'll resize, fix fonts and correct the layout for a flat fee. Nothing goes to print until the artwork is right.

Question 10

Can I send my artwork later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tick the option to email your artwork in the Artwork step and send it over when it's ready. Production starts once we have it. If you're ordering the frame only, there's nothing to print, so you don't need artwork.

Question 11

How long will my order take?

Accepted Answer

Choose Saver, Standard or Express in the price table. The estimated delivery date for each speed is shown at the top of its column. UK mainland delivery is included.
