Question 1

What can I print on the pen?

Accepted Answer

Your logo, slogan, name, website or phone number, in full colour, in a 30 × 12mm area on the barrel. Short and bold works best.

Question 2

Can I print a full-colour logo?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The pens are digitally printed in full colour (CMYK), so gradients and multi-colour logos are fine.

Question 3

Why should I avoid fine detail?

Accepted Answer

The print area is small, so thin lines and tiny text can blur together. Stick to bold fonts at 8pt or bigger and simple shapes.

Question 4

What colour ink do they write in?

Accepted Answer

Black.

Question 5

What are the pens like?

Accepted Answer

A curved ABS plastic ballpoint with a soft grip that reduces hand fatigue: 140mm long, 13mm across and 12g.

Question 6

How many can I order?

Accepted Answer

From 25 up to 5,000 pens. The quantities you can choose are shown in the price table, and the price per pen drops as you order more.

Question 7

What file should I send?

Accepted Answer

A PDF, vector if possible, with fonts outlined or embedded. If you use photos or other images, make them 300dpi.

Question 8

Will you check my artwork?

Accepted Answer

Yes. File Check is free and selected by default: our prepress team check size, resolution and more, and contact you if anything needs fixing. If you'd rather we fixed the problems for you, choose File Assist. We'll resize, fix fonts and correct the layout for a flat fee. Nothing goes to print until the artwork is right.

Question 9

Can I send my artwork later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Tick the option to email your artwork in the Artwork step and send it over when it's ready. Production starts once we have it.

Question 10

How long will my order take?

Accepted Answer

Choose Saver, Standard or Express in the price table. The estimated delivery date for each speed is shown at the top of its column and updates for the quantity you pick.
